So, it is 12:00 on a thursday morning and my roommate is still asleep (at least she was 15 minutes ago when I dropped off some fruit I stole from the dinning hall). So is Catherine still asleep?! Really, hasn't she ever seen people on planes wearing eyeshades, headphones, and all manner of devices to BLOCK OUT NOISE?

I worry about her. Maybe her first bout of being away from home is traumatic, and she's escaping into sleep. Do you find that she's fearful in general?

You, I don't worry about, because you communicate- with unusual sincerity- and therefore get along with people.

Apologies if you just want to keep this as a personal diary. I have a non-public one that I use to write down dreams and generally exhort myself.

Oh, I don't mind you commenting at all. If anything I prefer it, simply because I get so few responses that I wonder if it has just become a personal thing. I have an actual diary that I write in just for me, and a small moleskin for ideas and notes. In terms of Katherine, I don't think that she is a fearful person (but then again I figured she had the sense to tell me if something was up). The funny thing is that she has been going to a camp in the summer that's a couple weeks long for a while, so you'd think she'd be used to adapting to new situations. I guess that goes to show that you can never tell.
