Landlords are the devil. On the bright side, you are totally in your rights to move out if you want to. You are also within your rights to get someone else to repair everything and deduct it from your rent. I know this from my learnings. *nodnod*

sounds like an adventure to say the least. do you live with mike or is this a new boyfriend? good luck! i hope he didn't really kill anyone, but it sounds like he's going to be ultra unreliable. is this still in this area? or did you move somewhere far?
