it stinks but it gives me an appreciation for folks who have to without for weeks and months in either war or weather savaged areas.

Nah. You'd adjust and manage. You might give in to a fit of bitching and moaning initially, out of sheer frustration and stress, but then you'd just manage. You're not a fool.

Concerning "possible tornadoes," I'll tell you we've heard more severe weather alerts, tornado watches and tornado **warnings,** and break-in local programming concerning tornadoes and "TVS's"---have you been introduced to that one, yet?---this spring than I can recall ever hearing before.
