I've been trying to like the show as well. Is this something you can pick up at any episode or do you have to watch it at the start?

Nope, any part. My favorite episode is "The Universe!" The show is pretty unmistakably about American media, though. I don't know if it'd be as funny to someone who wasn't constantly awash in the stuff, but I wouldn't be surprised if other countries were (we're pretty guilty of exporting that stuff and pretty much nothing else of note...)

Perhaps I will try to like it. Or maybe just watch it a bit period, because thus far I have sort of steered clear. This could be enough to sway my opinion.
