little toad friend

went to hang clothes on the line, and noticed a large lump of white on the (white) line, right in front of me, on the shaded section of the line where it comes over the deck (which is where I stand to hang clothes). looked closer -- it was a tiny (1.25 inches or so) white toad. i picked him off the line and took him to some shaded bushes nearby --

Aww, yay for toad friends! Also, did I ever comment back to say that we're good for canoeing on the 28th? If not, I'm sorry, but we're definitely in!

yay canoeing on the 28th! yup, you commented, and I've been meaning to e-mail you back to say that I saw the comment -- let's move this conversation to e-mail, shall we? My Mom gave me a book about canoeing in NJ. Haven't had a chance to look through it yet, but I will! I also have a couple places in mind already anyway.
