Umm.. probably about a 4 or 5 depending. Media doesn't scare me too much but I'm a super paranoid mofo when it comes to real situations.

*fistbump* NO JOKE! On top of the stories being so interesting the format, too, made it impossible to put down! I've only read one other book of his (Choke) and I was sad that I couldn't get too into it. Invisible Monsters looks pretty promising though.

That seems to be the norm with his books. Nothing will come close to Haunted. I read Survivor and thought it was decent. His characters are always well-developed, but the plot was meh. Other people really liked it though, so don't take my word. I started IM a long time ago and got distracted. Should definitely give that another shot. I remember the reviews were good.
