Friending Frenzy - Round 1 - The Only One That Matters

New Journal, New Start, New Friends.

After about a days worth of sort of thinkong about it, and an LJ search that turned up nothing since March, I have decided to host a friending frenzy.

I only have a handful of friends over here and would like to expand that. So here we are.

I am sort of an artist and I like nature and stuff. And you sound interesting. And my grands had a farm in their retirement. So lets'give it a go.

Sounds super swell!

Its not a traditional working farm, but we have horses and the fields are farmed by neighbors. And I am trying to plant a vegetable patch.

I love frogs. I currently have a seven year old [captive born and bred] african pyxie, the smaller subspecies, and several fire-bellies and two green tree frogs.

Your pics are awesome.

I also like bees although I don't bee-keep. I have quite a few flowers in my gardens of weeds that they like and my backyard is kind of like bee central at times.

[And the dog is trained and the two cats are indoor only but at times I cuss like a trooper]. =^.^=

Join communities that are active about things you are into. Post in those communities and participate in discussions. Also participate in friending frenzies when they happen. And see if any of your other friends have a live journal.

Also post. Post. Post. If you add people as friends but don't post much in your own journal people aren't going to want to stick around. You can attract more people by making posts public. Personally I make almost all my posts friends only.

Communities like this! And I joined a writing competition on here (therealljidol) that really helped me meet a lot of people but I'm not sure tehre's going to be another season of that. Anyway I friended you (:

Well, i hope you find my posts interesting. you could call me a funky music fan of long standing and enjoy a strange mix of music from the avant-garde to kitsch and oddball stuff plus the more funkier and jazzier side of music as well as latin,salsa and soul. I love French art films, science fiction films, and oddball experimental films.I read voraciously esp. books on philosophy,science, art ,history, architecture, history, and ethnography and the odd occasional cult novels, plus a reader of fanfic. I think that puts it in nutshell.
