Another hilarious (I think) email from CJ.

Hello gang.
Sorry about the delay in writing to you.
I overslept this morning.
I hate it when that happens.
Ugh.
I called Mary Anne at 7:00 and she asked what time I left.
(I wonder if Roy calls Wanda.
Or if Roger Clemens calls whoever.)
"6:30."
"You did not. I was up at 4:00 and you and your car were gone."
Ooops.
She ought to be an auditor.
Can't fool her.
"Honey, you looked so beautiful and so peaceful there sleeping.
I didn't really look at the clock."
Waffle House was just filthy in the third hour.
Did you know yesterday was May Day as well as Lei (pronounced lay) Day?
Hawaiian reference.
There's a line that I'm not going to touch.
With a ten-foot caliprod.
Seeing that my wife calculated that I slept <100 hours in April, 2008, maybe I was merely catching up.
I should sleep until Thursday the 29th if that's the case.
Good to see Sylvia Hatchell is staying put.
I have always said May 1975 (end of my junior year at Lehigh) was the best month of my life (that's when I met MA; and dated a few others -honestly too many to list), but April 2008 is quite close.
Thank you for being here with me.
And being a part of it.
Enough monologue.
Listen, last evening I put your corrected third tests in your folders.
If you weren't at the review session, I also put your cash flow and take-home there as well.
Your cash flow later today (20 points) will look very much like Mohn so make sure you look at that.
Test 3's range was 20-30.
Average ~ 25.
The two areas on test three where folks struggled were the last entry in IV and the second part of V.
When there is a loss on construction contracts, the entry will debit expenses, credit CIP for the loss and credit revenue.
I copied somebody's answer that did it properly.
When an error is discovered in 2008, adjust through the end of 2007 via deferred taxes and retained earnings. Then make the regular proper depreciation entry in 2008.
Again, I copied the page of the student where I thought it was easiest to follow.
You'll see two questions like these in about 3 and 1/2 hours.
By very popular request (thanks for all your emails and your concerns), about an hour or so ago, I placed another page with answers worked out for you to practice these two areas again in preparation for this afternoon.
In your folders.
Nic Cain, your is pasted in an envelope on my door.
I will be happy to answer any questions between 11:30 and 11:45 in our classroom.
If you want you can begin at 11:45 or as soon as you arrive.
You really have been one of my alltime favorite classes.
Thanks for making the journey with me this semester.
Make today a spectacular day!
Your last day as an undergrad I presume.
I certainly remember mine (5/17/76, def-def-definitely a Monday).
Out.
KPTHCHNG.

I'm not sure, but I think the number may be the number of emails he's sent since he's been working at UNC. That's the word on the street.

Also, KPTHCHNG is his license plate...so if you ever see it around town...

Also also, questions from this email were on our final (What's his wife's name...but that was easy because he talks about her all the time...what was his favorite month of his life...how many hours did he sleep this month...and like 15 others). How cool is this guy? He's probably the only teacher I'll miss...
