I was chatting with a group of people and the subject of internet fads came up. Someone exclaimed, 'oh my god, remember livejournal?! that was the shit because you had to get invited in!' Of course I immediately pipped in that I still use it, to which a vacuum apparently sucked all the oxygen out.

I remember being a pioneer of technology and memes.
