Back in 9th grade, I (for some stupid reason) liked this girl Erica like mad hard-core. She was dating this guy Mike who she'd already been with for like 10 years (exaggeration of course). I told her I liked her, she of course said she was with Mike and couldn't reciprocate, and I followed her around like a little puppy dog hoping that one day

I hear ya! Kind of going through that right now. I like this girl Rachel and we dated in 8th grade or something like that. We were both young and I guess I wasn't ready for a relationship after all and broke up with her - I just told her like it is, but was nice and respectful about it, of course

Sounds like you got it tied up well then. My problem was that mine was all me...fantasy...the other party didnt know my feelings...until it was too late...although she was not attached, she was making a life changing decision to do something to get herself back on track..so the bad timming...we are still talkin, and I do still have some feelings for her...but they are not as strong as they were, I am not loosing sleep over it because she was straight with me from the start...telling her my feelings was a great relief even though they were not returned as deep...She is in Europe now...I have somethings happening in my life right now that I have to put a lot of my attention to (work wise)...
