I love Jim David, he's a comedian who is middle aged, homosexual, a former teacher, and from the South :P

Sadly I don't think that we can ever really turn the tables when it comes to parents. What I have been told is that is why you have children--so that you can talk to them like your parents talk to you because they are the only people who you have complete control over. Even if you are wrong, it doesn't matter because your kids are the bad ones if they speak against you in any way shape or form. They owe you Respect.

What the hell is wrong with your brother this time?! The only reason he has ever needed "help" in the past has been because he's drunk and/or cranked out on drugs and I'm sorry... But unless a person like that wants help, there's no helping them except in giving them handouts so they can get more. I don't know, maybe it's just that your mom is more passive or something, but your dad always seemed to bother me more...

Oh my brother was just having social anxiety and I told my father that I already tried to help him but apparently my father didn't think it was enough. Can you imagine him calling me heartless? Yeah right.

My mother though still keeps sending me stupid emails with christian undertones.

Of course I can, because it's another way for him to try to make you feel bad because you aren't doing something he thinks you should. Now, if I actually thought someone *thought* that about you, then yes, I'd be surprised. d:
