USS Stargazer requesting assistance.

The reason our internet has been so slow and intermittent is because we are overloading the buffers in our router. This is also why our routers go bad after a few months. This is bad.

We need to construct a decent computer to run Linux in order to take a load off of the router.This will be done

Remember the Homonculous? I might be willing to donate it, haven't decided yet. It's hardly the fastest machine around, but it was relatively dependable. I had plans to turn it into a media machine, but never got around to it.

I don't know for certain if I'm willing to give it up yet, but would you even be interested in it? I can get you some specs this weekend at some point, but I think it could pull 1.7ghz.
