Ugh,  I'm having such a shit time at the moment - Bad depressive relapse, which makes revising for my exam on Monday really hard plus failing to get into a PGCE course in September, despite having two interviews and having my psychiatrist postpone my appointment for two months when I really need to talk about upping my meds.... well you get the ( Read more... )

Nada Surf - they're my new favourite obsession! favourite songs are Blizzard of 77, Popular, Blankest Year, Inside Love.

Did you apply for secondary PGCE? Don't forget that you may still get a place through clearing. Also, I have to say that that was the worst year ever. I kind of think that if you're not doing great depression wise then starting before you're better may not be the best plan. But I do wish you luck in getting accepted. Also good luck with your exam.

Hey,
I given Lets Go a listen, is good. Thanks for the recommendation, I look forward to listening to more of their stuff.

Yeah it was secondary history I applied for. There's only few places left with places and they are all too far away. Yeah I've heard they are tough, the thing is when am I ever going to be in the situation with no mental problems? What would you suggest I do now, in the teaching field so I can do my PGCE next year?

Ah crap. Best of luck in your endevours.

And now for something completely different...

Turisas are good fun. "Battle Metal" over "The Varangian Way" IMHO but it's all good. Doomsword's "My Name Will Live On" looks really good at the moment too.

Turisas rock!! I've only listened to battle Metal, but I've got The Varangian Way burned to CD now and I'm looking forward to giving Doomsword a listen too.

I'd go with anything Nine Inch Nails. They have a tendency to make depressive people angry... Anger has a tendency to be a lot more productive.
