About the most awesome violence-for-violence's sake, comic (in both senses of the word), and utterly bullshit-filled film I've ever seen. But it was still great fun. Artsy-wanker that I am, I was impressed by the cinematography - they didn't overdo any one of the cliche'd "oh lookit the violence" techniques, but actually got a bit clever about it ( Read more... )

mmm... violence was done very well, excellent cinematography but I still found it a little excessive. Not being a student of history, I can't comment on the accuracy.

Looking forward to seeing how much fighting stuff you have taught Cat but expecting to get whaled on by more experienced fighters both at war practice sun, and on monday!

Yeah, Leonidas with a Scots' accent is awesome.

I understand the "bitter with assignments" thing. *hugs*

Take care not to let the assignments get you down too much...
