So, I've come to understand that insecurity seems to be part of the human condition but I don't think it has to be. Granted, if we all thought we were perfect then we'd have no incentive to learn and grow and try to become better people. as an inducement to be more positive, I like to keep a running count of the little 'extras' I do each day. Tiny things, like making sure the grocery carts are all pushed in and neat, so more can be stacked without causing parking problems. The "hellos" I give to passersby. letting someone merge, pleasantly. a weed pulled in the neighbor's yard. A compliment given to the lady next in line. A child praised for good behaviour. It just makes me feel that there are a few more people in the world each day,who, whether they know me or not, have a little bit easier time of it each day.

1) I'm loved, I know it and I do try to earn it on a daily basis.

2) I'm smart, I'm self-aware, I'm spiritually centered and yet I still like to learn about alternative ways of thinking and living.

3) I'm very creative.

For some reason, some people at faire got annoyed at me doing just that this year... (the good from bad, that is)... but it *could* have been partially due to the fact that I had to get a little bit silly to come up with the good part a lot of the time...
