Go for it with your hair! Remember, it will grow back if you don't like it.

As for the clothes, I've found that no matter what size I am, I feel better about myself when my clothes fit and flatter my shape. You might not like your weight, but you might like how you look a little bit more if you felt like your clothes flattered you. It will take work to find the right cuts for your body shape, but once you do, you can buy the same cuts in different fabrics so you'll always look great in all situations, casual or dressy. It's almost like having a uniform, but no one notices because of the different fabrics. :)

I go back and forth about my clothes. I don't have many that fit well, I don't have a lot of money for new clothes, and part of me balks at buying clothes for the size I am now when I really don't want to stay here long.

Oh and I just took 8 inches of my hair, probably more will come off when I go to get it styled.

I know what you mean about eating vegetables. It took me a long time to figure out how to incorporate more of them into my diet

I love what not to wear, I just suck at translating their rules into the clothes I actually buy.

The other day for the first time in my life I ate a piece of asparagus and loved it. It was lightly grilled then sauteed in a pan with very little oil but with a good pass over the wood grill, it was very flavourful and delicious. Another thing I like to do with vegetables is steam them but emphasize the dipping sauces. The dipping sauces so make the difference between bland and great.
