It was uncomfortable, but not horrible.  Ice and Vicodin are my friend right now.

In addition to being able to travel through time, fly and cure cancer, I discovered the wonders of VNC for the iPhone.  I can remotely manage my unix and windoze systems (add eventually my mac os x86 hackintosh) with my iPhone.

Went to the dr today for the results of my MRI.  He confirmed that I tore a tendon in my ankle, as I suspected.  Now I get to see the foot and ankle specialist tomorrow to discuss the treatment options, possibly including surgery ( Read more... )

I had to go in for an MRI yesterday for my ankle.  It was 45 minutes of pure hell.  Laying in a tube doing everything I can to not move.  It wasn't claustrophobia or anything like that, just the natural instinct to do whatever you are told not to.  If you're told not to smile you're first reaction is going to be to smile.  If you're told not to ( Read more... )

"I'm not OCD, I'm just thorough."

Went to the specialist about my ankle that is still sore and painful 6-7 weeks after the injury.  He thinks that I probably tore one of the tendons and is sending me for an MRI tomorrow.  If it's torn that means surgery then physical therapy.  If it's not then it's just therapy.

Anyway you slice it I'm in for more pain.

Evie and I returned to Las Vegas to celebrate our anniversary again this year.
The premise this year was the same as last, get away for a couple of days without the kid, dogs, work, etc and have a good time in the place that we got married in.  Each time we go we learn new things about what to do, what not to do, where to stay, what to see, etc.  ( Read more... )

It's the day before I go on vacation.  I got a call for an interview tomorrow morning from a company that I'm really interested in.  I got another call from another company that has put my resume on the top of the wish list.  That one carries a very nice salary package, so it's definitely of interest ( Read more... )
