By now, most of you have heard about what happened: Genevieve Valentine, an excellent and accomplished writer, was stalked and harassed at this year’s Readercon. Thank you for this. I've been too many shades of fucked up over this and other things this weekend to do more than send the board an angry letter. It's so crucial to be able to have posts like yours, and Genevieve's, and Veronica's, that articulate so succinctly everything that's fucked up about this situation.

Completely off-topic -- I don't know how to fix this (except to put your blog in my google reader), but your posts don't seem to be turning up in my flist -- figured I should mention it. I did think it had been ages since I'd seen a post from you and now I know why. Grrr, LJ.

Gone over and given them an earful. Thanks for alerting me to this. For years, I've been trying to get myself to a Readercon. Now, I doubt I'll ever go.
