There's no actual proof that Sodom and Gomorrah's sin was homosexuality. In fact, most evidence points toward their greatest sin as being inhospitable to strangers, which was considered VERY, VERY BAD at the time. So maybe that's why that story ends that way? I don't know XD

I'm more inclined to believe that too, since hospitality is/was considered a RIGHT in that time (and still is, in parts of that region of the world). I try reasoning with people about that, but meh.

I've heard the same, actually, and that viewpoint is backed up in the text, but I was commenting more on the common interpretation of the text. (All those people who are like, boo gay sex, but then ignore the rest of the story.) I'm glad to hear that you've heard of that viewpoint too, cos I thought I was almost alone in having heard it.

Yay, I'm not the only reading the Bible lately! As stories of the past, the Bible is kick-ass. (The New Testament is more PG-13 by comparison, lol). Speaking of gay sexxors, catch up to 1 Samuel. *cough David/Jonathan cough* Depending on your edition of the book too, the King James Version makes things a little more explicit. XD That's pretty darn gay...and David is supposed to be Jesus' ancestor too.
