Okay, first things first - every team in sports is doing something sneaky or underhanded. It's not even a question, stealing signs in baseball and football have been around as long as the games have been played. So anyone who thinks only the Patriots are stealing signs is completely naive. What the Patriots did wrong (and they were wrong) was

It's still the maximum fine that they could've stuck on Belichick and the biggest penalty anyone's gotten in draft picks so far.

I haven't heard anyone say anything about the Patriots being the only ones stealing signs other than Patriots fans trying to counter that argument. Everyone seems to be pretty much in agreement that it's fine to steal signs and that pretty much everyone does it. The only distinctions that people are making is how the Patriots did it.

To me, tho most interesting part is that they did it right after they were warned and with the same guy that got tagged in Green Bay against a former coach that presumably knows all about it. I'm not sure how much more clearly they could've broadcast that they were thumbing their nose at the rule.
