The Democrats and Republicans aren't mirror images of each other. Just because one party screwed stuff up when it had all the reins doesn't mean that the other would as well. The Dems controlled both the Legislative and Executive Branches for two years ('93 - '94) and managed to accomplish exactly zip. They were actually more effective when they became the minority party

I am undecided but since he chose a female running mate I am leaning more toward republican. I think that was a smart move on his part.
