Early Wednesday morning, as i unfolded the newspaper from it's tightly bundled coil, the words, "Proposition 2 Has Passed" jumped out and bit me on the nose like a snake. It freaks me out mainly because theyre just taking our rights away like that *snaps fingers* Like, I know its not THAT ENORMOUS of a thing to start with but i'm scared of what's next!
Are they gonna make divorce illegal, and then require people to go to church on sunday's?
not to even mention how much chrisitian conservations contradict themeselves. And i agree all we need is love. It's true, so why are we so focused on taking that away?
And why do people want gay marriage illegal so much? it's not like it hurts them, its not like it causes the gay people to magically become straight either.
