I need some confidence.

I am applying for graduate school and that is stressful, but I am irrationally afraid to ask for recommendations from my professors.

But I am going to do it tomorrow.

Please, wish me luck. Maybe that will make me actually do it instead of whimpering and hiding.

Psh, professors love students who are motivated to learn. I'm sure they'll all be very pleased to help you get that more learning. ^^

Just remember you paid them to teach you, therefore you're their boss. Although, I loved to hear someone actually say that to their professor, I don't see it going to well.
