I downloaded a screencapping software so I can get some new screencaps for icon making if I so choose to ever get around to it.  I have about 250-300 DVDs, but does anyone besides me want any screencaps?  If so, I could make like... a gagillion of one movie or something.  I have some options.  Some, though, are at school and won't be accessible

Oh man I am jealous. Macs seem to have some copy protection thing where you can't take screencaps basically while there's a DVD in the machine and you have to eject it to be able to take anything at all. And I've tried taking rips of things to cap those and had really infrequent (read: almost no) success.

I saw a BSG screencap project go up somewhere, I think it was bsg_refrak or something. I was put out because I have torrented rips that all have the Sky One logo and don't make for great caps anyway. I'm sure they (and I) would totally appreciate any BSG screencaps you would do. I would also love cooing over some Dark Angel moments, but I saw a pretty thorough Dark Angel screencap project go up somewhere (and promptly scoured the entire thing for the cameos of people from BSG in the project).

i'm glad my new laptop lets me screencap dvds and downloaded movies.
my old computer wouldn't let me do that.

Basically all of the tv shows you have there are my favourites! And many of those films. They are so good.
