Yesterday I spent the afternoon with a whole bunch of family peeps for Howie's 40th birthday. Given that his wife, Olga, is Ukranian, a lot of the cuisine wasn't really my speed. When I returned from Burlington on Friday it was Halloween Weekend and there was no slowing down. Yesterday was the party for Olivia's ninth birthday. Apart from not being able to believe she's nine, I had a great time as usual. She did too- the kid made out like a bandit, and she was super sweet and excited about seeing everyone and all of her gifts.
