Why in the hell is this game fun? It makes no logical sense. It begins with your character having a mortgage and a shack for a house. Most of the NPC's are either rude or fairly indifferent to you. I'm supposed to write messages that are exciting for advertisement for a shop called 'Nook's Cranny.' People can be embarassed by the letters I send ( Read more... )

Haha, shells are for smucks.
The letter thing analyzes certain word choice. If you say things like "let's be friends" and the like, they reply nicely.

For bees - in order to get rid of the bee sting, you have to save, quit, and come back. That also helps send letters out faster.

As for money - there's not a lot you can do until you can get enough money to buy fishing rods or nets. Foreign fruit = large amounts of dough, too.

Where do you get foreign fruit? And what's this about getting friends? Would you be able to take your character and bring her to my town? I'm still a neophyte at this...

Yeah - when do you want me to visit your town? Since you'd want me to show you how to do stuff there, this question really is, when do you want me to go over to your house for a tutorial? Stuff la la la.

i like to add stuff to the museum thats my favorite part.

i haevnt played that game in a long long time though

also if you talk to the characters enough theyll play games and trade stuff with you and stuff

hey, I'm one of Paul's friends. Your LJ icon is awesome because it has a squirrel, so I decided to check your LJ out. Anyways, I LOVE ANIMAL CROSSING!!!! I've been playing on and off since it came out and I got it for X-mas. I recently paid off my last debt, which is kind of sad because now my house won't get bigger and bigger.
What I do for quick cash is just fish, fish and fish. I get a lot of fishing done at night when the shop is closed and no one is awake. I just roam the beach and get a fish for every screen and then store them in my basement, then I go back and get more fish. If you get lots of Red Snappers and Barred Knifejaws then your money will add up fast.
Now, the only thing that super excites me is when I find a matching carpet or wallpaper. I collect em', pretty rad. I'm thinking this post is long, but I think it deserves to be because I love animal crossing and so do you, so that makes you super rad.
