State of Texas House Bill 254, which makes possession of marijuana of up to 1 ounce a ticket rather than jail offense, passed UNANIMOUSLY through the bipartisan Criminal Jurisprudence Committee last week! This bill would generate state revenue, free up court and jail resources for serious crimes like robbery, rape and murder
