So on my fourth of July, I got dragged to a poshy old rich people party in Laguna Beach. My mom's patient turned 95, which in itself is pretty amazing. But then I learned he's got over 100 patents and he invented pressurized air cabins for airplanes. And his really good friend, Buzz Aldrin was there! laguna beach!! i only like being up there when my outfit is particularly flattering. i know, i am vain.

and i have yet to meet a famous person, but i'm sure that's going to happen to me, too. or else i'll just say something really, really awkward--i mean, not even something generic and escapable, but something awkward. i have mouth diarrhea.

the fireworks look lovely, though! as does the house.

also tbh i don't know who buzz aldrin is. :x

Haha, i was thinking about dressing up and i ended up wearing jeans and flip flops there. i figured, hey we're gonna be next to the beach anyway right?

buzz aldrin was one of the first guys to land on the moon. haha, i had to think a little bit too before i heard his name. i was like wait.. what about the neil armstrong dude...

the fact that i know who buzz aldrin is kind of makes me feel old!

oh and the awkward conversation starts are a typical occurrence for me whether the person is famous or not. :( i am so lame sometimes.

nah, i don't think my mom even knew who he is.. but that's just because it's my mom and she's too lazy to educate herself about american history.

i think if i met someone famous i'd just be really shy. hahaah. i dunno.
