:( i'm sorry, that sucks. that happened to me on a train, too, last summer. :( my brand new phone. and i was halfway through a 5+hr train journey to stay with a friend in a city i had never been to before, and of course i didn't know her phone number so i was freaking out. it was very traumatic. people are bastards :(

Yeah, it really cuts you off, and you're completely aware that someone did that to you. I'm heading out to buy a phone tomorrow, and I hope to god someone tries to take it from me, so I can show them exactly how they won't.
