boy update
ok, so not many people knew i liked a boy. but i did (do). i told him. two days later, he tells me the feeling isn't mutual. i'm upset, yes, but i totally respect that he told me the truth. so, i guess i shouldn't complain. oh well, life goes on.

A friend of mine wrote a freestyle Xanga entry on love several years ago now, and wrote a great line that still sticks with me to this day: "Isn't it amazing how people will remember who won the World Series at the end of the year, but never can recall how many losses they had to undergo to achieve the goal?" While the entry was about love, it fits just about anything in life too. I really find that that quote still comes back to mind when it needs to, even four years after he wrote it.
