Author's Note: I took your prompt very literally at first and then very liberally by the end. I hope you enjoy this!
Kyungsoo was notorious around the office. Everyone knew him for his cold exterior and his to-the-point attitude. Everyone thought he was just aloof, but in actuality, the boy was cripplingly shy. It was a miracle he passed the interview, his hands trembling as they gripped on to the hem of his suit jacket.
But Zitao hired Kyungsoo due to his outstanding resume. And here he was, still isolated from his colleagues after 6 months in the office. People had tried at first, yet they all gave up after receiving countless terse replies from him. So the others left Kyungsoo alone. When he entered the break room during lunch to retrieve his food, the room would go quiet. Everyone in the office was nervous they would be on the receiving end of what looked like a harsh glare.
Kyungsoo was heading out of the break room when he overheard a hushed conversation. Baekhyun, the receptionist and Suho, another employee, sat at a round table in the back corner of the room.
“There will be three of them,” Baekhyun said, mindlessly flipping through a magazine.
“Three interns!? Wow… Boss must be set on recruiting new employees.” Suho nodded to himself, unwrapping his peanut butter uncrustable.
“Yeah, Sehun sent me their profiles and they’re all pretty cute… I might be able to find a new BF.” Kyungsoo thought the way Baekhyun spoke was weird. He didn't understand why people said abbreviations out loud when it would take the same amount of effort to say the full words. Baekhyun's speech patterns didn't worry Kyungsoo too much though, as they never spoke to each other.
Baekhyun was one of the nicer employees in the EXO sales department. Kyungsoo noticed that out of all the employees at EXO, Baekhyun put in much more effort to talk to Kyungsoo than anyone else. He didn’t know if that was just because Baekhyun wanted in Kyungsoo's pants though. He wasn't trying to be full of himself, it was just that on his third day he overheard Baekhyun say, “He’s the shy type, but I bet I can get him to open up. OMG it’ll be like one of those dramas where the cute stoic shy boy only talks to the beautiful protagonist and then they kiss and have really great sex.”
Eventually Baekhyun realized Kyungsoo wasn’t the cute misunderstood drama character shy. Instead, he was the introverted, anxious, impossible-to-hold-a-conversation-with shy. The attempts at flirting stopped quite abruptly after that revelation.
Truthfully, the interns worried Kyungsoo a great deal. They were new people he would have to avoid, more people that would have to get used to his mannerisms.
But that was okay--Kyungsoo was always up for a challenge! (No he wasn’t) (He hated challenges) Now if he could open open his goddamn water bottle--

All Kyungsoo could think of as he was getting ready was the anniversary party his boss was throwing. It was 10 years for the company that day and Kyungsoo did not want to attend. Unfortunately, Zitao had anticipated that no one would want to attend. He sent out an email notifying all employees that if they made an appearance, they would receive a generous raise. Kyungsoo could live without what Zitao considered a 'generous' raise. It was the consequence of failing to show up that he wasn't okay with. The email also detailed that if one did not show up, Zitao would lower their salary. At a party, he couldn’t feign concentration on a project or excuse himself for a work-related phone call. Looking into the mirror he smiled. If he wasn't happy, maybe he could force it?
Honestly, it wasn't that Kyungsoo was unhappy with his life, it was just that sometimes his shyness stopped him from doing things and talking to people! He had friends from high school, and he went rock climbing on the weekends. He read a lot and sometimes painted. Kyungsoo had plenty of fun by himself. It was just that when he was forced to get to know people he had no connection with, he struggled a little bit. Nothing wrong with that.
On the subway Kyungsoo fit his earbuds into his ears gingerly, letting the music separate him from the grating sound of the vehicle moving along the tracks. The new interns arriving that day had completely slipped his mind.
“Everyone come greet the new interns!” Zitao’s shrill voice was the first thing Kyungsoo heard when he pushed open the heavy glass door. There were three boys standing by Baekhyun’s circular desk, fidgeting under the gaze of everyone employed in the sales department. The scene reminded Kyungsoo much of his first day at the company, except instead of three people there was just one of him, and instead of smiling at everyone and introducing himself, he stayed quiet and wide-eyed as Zitao told everyone his name.
The new interns were taking the attention very well. One looked rather sleepy but still professional, the boy in the middle looked alert but also kind of manic, and the other looked very cheery and… cute? Kyungsoo didn’t want to stop looking at him as soon as he caught his first glimpse. The intern met Kyungsoo’s stare with an adorable eye-smile and bowed in his direction. The rest of the moment was a blur, and suddenly Kyungsoo found himself sitting down at his desk, straining his ears to hear what Baekhyun was saying to the new kids.
“Wait Minseok… You are not older than me.”
“I swear I am! Do you want me to go get my birth certificate?” The four men laughed together. Kyungsoo didn’t understand why that was funny.
Kai was one of the interns, a year younger than Kyungsoo and also a little shy. The other was named Chanyeol, a year older than Kyungsoo, maybe. That left Minseok, the cute boy Kyungsoo was admiring earlier, who was three years older than Kyungsoo but didn’t look a day over twenty.
Kyungsoo tried to snap himself out of the weird trance he was in while looking at Minseok. He had a few reasons for wanting to keep his admiration just that--admiration. First of all, he was too shy to make friends, how could he ever flirt (!??!!?) with someone? Second of all, Minseok was really cute. And Kyungsoo didn’t think he was bad-looking, but he wasn’t gorgeous enough to be worthy of this ethereal prince whose presence had blessed his life earlier that morning. Okay this was bad.
A weak vibration shook Kyungsoo’s desk. His head snapped down to his phone, and he logged onto his computer to get started on the the reply to the email his most important client just sent him.

“Kyungsoo’s kind of scary,” Baekhyun said, after being prompted by Yixing to spill everyone’s weird quirks and habits, or anything else the new interns might need to know. “He’s very aloof. I’m pretty sure he hates everyone in the office.” Kyungsoo heard that, but it wasn’t anything he didn’t already know about the thoughts of his coworkers.
“Are you sure he’s not just shy?” A boyish voice piped up before Baekhyun moved on.
“If you’re thinking of becoming a drama protagonist and helping shy-boy open up to the world and let go of his insecurities, trust me, been-there, tried-that, he literally will not speak to you.” Baekhyun shook his head, moving right along to give them the low-down on Zitao. Kyungsoo risked a glance up at Baekhyun’s desk, but returned his gaze immediately to his computer screen when he locked eyes with Minseok, who was smiling gently in his direction. Kyungsoo typed furiously, trying to look like he was hard at work, not admiring the voice of one particular new intern.

Kyungsoo grabbed a plastic cup from the table, not bothering to ask what it contained. His lips puckered at the slight kick from the champagne but he drank the glass down in two sips anyway, discarding his cup and picking up another one. They could’ve at least gotten plastic champagne flutes instead of forcing guests to pour the pink bubbly liquid into red solo cups. It was like Kyungsoo’s freshman year of college all over again.
It was given that Baekhyun was already smashed, with Chanyeol right next to him on Sehun’s desk. They looked quite cosy together, Baekhyun whispering (probably perverse) things into Chanyeol’s ear and Chanyeol crossing his legs. What Kyungsoo would never understand is why Baekhyun got a kick out of doing things like that in the office. Especially when everyone was gathered together like this.
Apart from himself, Kyungsoo was fairly certain that Baekhyun was the only non-het person in the office. He added Chanyeol to his mental list, putting him right under ‘Minseok…?’ A hand clamped down on Kyungsoo’s shoulder right as he tripped over his own feet at the possibility that Minseok was gay.
“Thank you,” Kyungsoo muttered, not raising his eyes from the floor. He just wanted to sit in the back corner of the office by himself and maybe get really drunk so that when he woke up the next morning he wouldn’t feel sorry for himself. The hand didn’t move though, and there was a soft voice almost whispering his name.
“Kyungsoo, I haven’t had a chance to talk to you yet.” The warmth on Kyungsoo’s shoulder remained until he sat down on the floor next to Jongdae’s cubicle, way in the back of the room. The hand found its way back to Kyungsoo’s body though, pressing warm fingers into his toned thigh. “Tell me about yourself.” Kyungsoo threw back the rest of his glass of champagne and reached for Minseok’s cup of alcohol, quickly draining that too. God he was going to be so hungover the next morning.

Pounding headaches were the worst, especially when they were coupled with the bitter taste of bile and an acidic burn in the back of your throat. Kyungsoo swallowed and pressed his hands to his face, protecting his eyes from the bright sunlight shining through the window. He opened his eyes slowly, staring at the ceiling as he pulled the soft blankets up to his chin. His eyes grew impossibly wide impossibly quickly, realizing something wasn’t quite right.
“This isn’t my room.” Panicking, Kyungsoo got out of bed, thankfully fully clothed, grabbing his phone from the bedside table. It still felt like someone was drilling into his skull, but he was too busy trying to remember anything from the night before while pacing back and forth at the end of the bed.
Footsteps approached the door, throwing Kyungsoo into an even deeper state of panic. He threw himself back on the bed with the blankets over him, forming a hole so he could peek out from under his makeshift shelter. The door opened slowly and a familiar head of reddish hair hooked around it, warm eyes landing on the pile of blankets on the bed.
Tears were welling up in Kyungsoo’s eyes. He’d never felt this embarrassed before! How did he end up at Minseok’s house of all places? The brand new intern? What had gotten into him?
Minseok approached the bed and sat down next to Where Kyungsoo was curled up in the fetal position. There was pressure on Kyungsoo’s arm through the blanket, a small hand shaking him awake.
“Hey Soo wake up.” Even though he was whispering, Minseok’s voice was loud in the stark silence of the morning. Kyungsoo slowly pulled the duvet from his head, so it obscuring half his face. “There’s breakfast in the kitchen when you’re ready. You can shower if you want?” Owl-eyes blinked twice before a nod broke the stillness. A small smile spread over Minseok’s mouth, eyes crinkling up at the corners. “Okay. Towels are in the linen closet and you can just use anything in the shower.”
When Minseok left the room, it was suddenly still again. Kyungsoo crept through the hallway to the bathroom, gingerly picking a dark blue towel from the cupboard and setting it on the closed toilet lid. The shower curtain was closed, and Kyungsoo reached in, turning the knob all the way to hot. As he stripped his clothes off, the room started filling with steam.
The smooth glass of the mirror clouded over, distorting Kyungsoo’s reflection. When he was totally bare, he pulled back the shower curtain and stepped into the shallow bath. He adjusted the knobs so the shower stream was lukewarm and stood directly beneath it, letting the water stream over him.
He began looking for shampoo, and reached his hand into the caddy behind the shower head. There was so much steam he barely see around him, and when his hand gripped onto something round and cool, he pulled it out of the caddy to see if it was what he needed.
Oh. Oh no. Minseok’s name was suddenly bolded on Kyungsoo’s mental list of office gays, as he stood in the shower with the biggest pink silicone dildo Kyungsoo had ever seen in his life. Without realizing it Kyungsoo dropped the dildo and let out a small scream.
Or maybe it wasn’t as small as he had thought, because Minseok was banging on the bathroom door, asking if Kyungsoo was okay.
“I’m fine,” Kyungsoo yelled back. Although he really wasn’t. He had just touched a thing that was Definitely up Minseok’s ass at one time. And not only was that disgusting, but now his mind was running wild, full of images of Minseok slowly working himself open with that giant Thing that Kyungsoo didn’t even think was a realistic size. When he stepped back under the running water, it was cold -- he couldn’t tell if it was the water that had gotten colder, or if he was just hotter though.
Thankfully the rest of his shower went smoothly, the scent of Minseok’s coconut shampoo now following him as well.
In the kitchen Minseok was sitting as a small table eating cheerios from a chipped bowl. When Kyungsoo walked in, Minseok’s face lit up in a smile. “Help yourself to anything!” He said, gesturing to the dishwasher and a shelf of cereal boxes. “I’m going to shower but I’ll be out really soon!”
Kyungsoo waited until he heard the shower start up, then took it as his opportunity to escape.
Kyungsoo can’t remember the last time he walked through the city at 10 am on a Saturday. It was alive and thriving, but it was different from the 7 am rush or the 6 pm buzz.

“What the fuck” were the first words spoken to Kyungsoo on Monday morning. They came from Baekhyun’s mouth, and were followed closely by two small hands on his cheeks. “HE’S SMILING!” Baekhyun practically screeched, right in Kyungsoo’s face.
“Not anymore he’s not you freak,” Sehun rolled his eyes. Kyungsoo’s face was stone cold again, and he twisted away from Baekhyun’s grip, walking faster to his desk. When he sat down he put his own hands on his cheeks, feeling the heat emanating from them.
“What,” was the only thing Kyungsoo could think.
All day Kyungsoo would catch himself smiling, and he knew the other employees noticed it too. When walking back from the printer he felt eyes on him and looked over to see Chanyeol, Baekhyun and Jongdae staring at him. At his desk there was a small paper cup of steaming hot black coffee. Kyungsoo looked up, to see who might have left it there, and locked eyes with a smiling Minseok. The older boy waved and Kyungsoo’s cheeks turned a fiery red shade.
“He did it,” Baekhyun said. “He fucking did it thAT BASTARD I’M SUPPOSED TO BE THE DRAMA PROTAGONIST!” Baekhyun sank to his knees, and it was a little over dramatic (okay, a lot), but Kyungsoo was glad to have the attention off of him.
This became a routine of sorts. Kyungsoo was his normal shy, gloomy self, but every once in a while, when Minseok caught his eye, he would crack a smile. There was always a new cup of coffee on Kyungsoo’s desk when he came into work, and sometimes there was a small pastry or snack waiting for him as well.
No matter how many times they saw Kyungsoo smile, the other employees were still astonished every time it happened.
Minseok’s kindness carried over into Kyungsoo’s personal life as well, and the older man started giving him rides to and from work, attempting to cook dinner, and occasionally asking Kyungsoo to scope out new coffee shops with him. Finally Kyungsoo felt like he belonged somewhere, like he was worth the attention.
“You know you can drop the honorifics,” Minseok said one morning after Kyungsoo had added formal endings to his name at least five times during the short ride to work. He put a hand on Kyungsoo’s shoulder and turned to look at him. “Just call me hyung.”
“Okay… hyung.” Minseok’s face brightened visibly when Kyungsoo said it, causing Kyungsoo’s own expression to become happier.
About 2 hours into their shift, Kyungsoo needed help carrying papers from the copier.
“Hyung can you help me for a second?” Kyungsoo asked, voice reaching the opposite side of the room where Minseok stood. Baekhyun’s head whipped around so fast Kyungsoo almost thought he’d get whiplash. Suho looked up from his desk, and Sehun stood up, hands slammed down on the table.
“Sure, Soo.” Six jaws dropped simultaneously. Kai fell out of his chair but didn’t wake up.
“They must be fucking,” Baekhyun whispered into Chanyeol’s ear during their lunch break.
“Yeah, but thats not as important as how much I want your mouth around my dick right now.” Baekhyun smirked and stood up, leading Chanyeol to the bathroom.
“Baby always gets his wish.”

This relationship progressed very quickly, especially for someone like Kyungsoo.
A Friday night found the two of them at Minseok’s apartment, curled up on the couch watching some dumb movie about spies, probably. (Kyungsoo wasn’t paying attention. He was too busy thinking about the way Minseok’s hand felt on his knee.)
Minseok’s hand slowly started moving up Kyungsoo’s leg, and the younger boy really wasn’t paying attention to the movie now. While stroking Kyungoo’s upper thigh, Minseok pressed his lips against Kyungsoo’s neck. They were soft, and very smooth, and sent a shiver through Kyungsoo’s body even though they felt warm.
A feeling of uneasiness washed over Kyungsoo. It’s not like they hadn’t kissed or made out before, but tonight felt different. Maybe it was because of the way Minseok’s touch seemed rougher than before, or because of the amount of teeth he was using in the assault of Kyungsoo’s flawless skin. Either way, Kyungsoo liked it.
A leg slipped between Kyungsoo’s legs, pressing up against his crotch. Minseok hovered over him, pressing his hips down on Kyungsoo’s stomach. There was a hardness there unlike anything Kyungsoo had felt before, and his entire body was hot with unfamiliarity and sheer need.
His hips bucked up, and he rutted against Minseok, the older boy reciprocating his actions causing delicious friction. His earlobe was sucked into a hot mouth and Minseok’s nose was against his hairline.
“Hyung,” Kyungsoo whispered, shy and unsure of himself. “Hyung I need you.”
Minseok pulled off of Kyungsoo’s ear and sat back, holding his hands and looking at him very seriously.
“You’re a virgin, aren’t you Kyungsoo.” Face flushed red, Kyungsoo nodded. “For your first time, do you want to fuck me? Or do you want me to fuck you?” Kyungsoo didn’t understand how MInseok wasn’t shy about this, because with every word he said, Kyungsoo squirmed.
He looked away. “I’m not big enough to satisfy you.” All Kyungsoo could think about was the giant dildo he had seen the first time he was at Minseok’s apartment. There was silence for a few moments, and then Minseok burst into laughter.
“What are you talking about, Soo!? That’s ridiculous.” Minseok wiggled his hips, feeling Kyungsoo’s hard on beneath him. “You feel plenty big to me.”
“But… I saw your dildo…” Kyungsoo was growing more sheepish and embarrassed by the moment, especially with the way the conversation was going. Minseok’s laughter became louder and struggle to speak between the violent gulps of air he was taking.
“Soo thats not mine. It’s my old roommates. I just never got around to throwing it out or sending it back! I could never take a cock that big.” Kyungsoo choked at Minseok choice of vocabulary, but he did feel better now about everything. “I’ll tell you what. Because it’s your first time, and I want it to be amazing, I’ll let you fuck me.” Minseok smiled again, showing off his tiny teeth. “And I’ll guide you through this.”
Minseok undressed himself and Kyungsoo in record time, and they were both sitting naked on the couch across from each other. Minseok reached forward and grabbed a hold of Kyungsoo’s dick, tugging at it lazily. Kyungsoo was finding it difficult to think about anything other than the feeling of Minseok’s slender fingers around him or the way his hyung was now leaning forward to lick the tip.
Kyungsoo has scene enough porn to have a general idea of what he needed to do, taking Minseok’s hand and placing it in his mouth, sucking and licking around his three middle fingers until they were all suitably coated in saliva.
When Kyungsoo released his hand Minseok reached back and started pressing a finger into his ass. He went slowly, seemingly out of practice. His lips tensed around Kyungsoo and he stopped bobbing his head as his knuckle slipped past his entrance. The inserted finger began to moved back and forth and Minseok hummed happily around Kyungsoo’s cock, sending pleasant vibrations throughout his body.
Kyungsoo’s lack of experience meant that by the time Minseok had worked himself up to three fingers, his younger boyfriend was a quivering mess because of Minseok’s mouth.
With Kyungsoo leaning back against the arm of the couch, Minseok sank down on his dick, threading their fingers together and throwing his head back.
“Jesus christ… hyung, does it always feel this good?” Kyungsoo asked when Minseok started to move. He winced the slightest bit but kept bouncing his hips, setting a rhythm.
Kyungsoo started bucking his hips up at well, meeting Minseok’s whenever he came down. Leaning down, red lips attached to Kyungsoo’s collar bones, sucking dark marks into the thin skin. Kyungsoo’s pants were coming very hard now and Minseok mewled every time Kyungsoo thrust into the him. The sounds he was making were absolutely sinful and he knew it. His hips started swivelling as Kyungsoo pounded harder and Minseok pulled one of Kyungsoo’s hands down between them so he could pull Minseok to completion.
Kyungsoo came first, inside Minseok. Minseok pulled off over Kyungsoo and finished himself off, cum oozing down onto the younger boy’s body.
Minseok laid down beside Kyungsoo, and turned to snuggle up to him. This was when their height was convenient, because their toes touched and so did their noses, and they fell asleep together like that.
Before Minseok went completely brain-dead, he thought he heard a faint whisper of “I’m glad we met.”
