I feel like I've had a pretty rough time since my baby passed away last year, and my temporary contact at work was coming to an end, and I didn't know how I was going to deal with rent and everything...so all I wanted to do was withdraw from everyone and hide in my bed

Thank you! I haven't forgotten you either. They were offering 3 jobs for all of us - one would be permanent, and two would be temporary contracts for one year. So I got the permanent, and two others got the temporary. The others had to go.

It was a really rubbish situation to be in as we all knew each other, but that's how it goes sometimes - it happened that I was lucky this time!
