Aww, thanks!!! *hugs you*

Yeah, you know, after all of my whining about it...I ended up thinking that it actually didn't turn out so bad. :) Hee.

Wow, this was incredibly painful. I wanted to look away, but I just couldn't stop reading. Amazing.

Persistent anony-mouse here!

I've so far just read the new ending, but I'm looking forward to rereading the whole thing in its final form.

The new ending is *perfect*. What a wonderfully wicked thing to do to your readers! Or *for* your readers, I'm not sure which.

ETA - oh! I think you meant hypovolemic, not hypervolemic! Unless he's pregnant. :)

HI! Thank you so much for your persistence--it was lovely to know that someone cared that much about the piece, and it helped me to be persistent in turn.

The new ending is *perfect*.

Hooray! I'm so glad you like it!

I think you meant hypovolemic, not hypervolemic! Unless he's pregnant.

HEE! Oops. No, that would be a whole 'nother fill. Thank you so much for catching that--fixed!

This is so gruesome and brilliant, and your writing is just so SMART that I wish I could poach you for all my fanfic needs. Like, I could just point you at a fandom and say “write me this” and it would happen. Magnificent. And EXCRUCIATING, of course. It took me a while to work my way up to reading this, but I’m glad I did. At least I think I am? I’m kind of traumatized, to be honest.

Imagine if we could get you to write fluff someday, huh? :)

Yeah, I've read this comment like fourteen times now. *squishes you*

As I get some distance from the piece, I'm definitely starting to understand that it's, um, not fun. I mean, no, obviously--I'm not a sociopath. But getting into that headspace during the writing process doesn't generally involve the same kind of emotional commitment for me that it does for some writers, or at least not in the same way. I'm way too focused on technique and stuff to bother to notice that, dude. Wall rape. Plus abduction and drugs and Reichenbach and war and PTSD and mindfucking. It's not the kind of thing one exactly looks forward to reading--you need to fortify yourself.

Hey, I've written fluff! "Wanting to Direct" is super fluffy, you just will not read it. (And I wouldn't ask you to. It primarily takes place in Bryan's trailer.) And er, I have one very fluffy Monk fictlet. So...there.

If you want to poach me for something in Sherlock or another fandom I'm familiar with, always feel free! The worst--and mostly likely--thing that'll happen it ( ... )
