I am not making any claims one way or the other as to what all really goes on in the ABQ, only that it is not this exact thing as I have written it. ;)

Thanks for reading, and especially for letting me know it pushed your buttons! :D It's definitely reassuring to know that other fans find them searingly hot together...!

Aaron, with that wonderful glitch in his limbic system.

This is perhaps the most dead-on description of Aaron among the many amazing dead-on descriptions you've come up with, pairing it with Bryan's limbic system in perfect working order. <3

Still fucking amazing, man. I love the characters, love how you describe them via their dialogues and their actions, and most of all I love how you set a scene and tell it, and then you go do the same with another scene and they come together just wondrously. Like this:

"Ow, shit!" Bryan yelps, twisting around.

"Well, don't walk away from me while I'm trying to undress you," Lupe tells him reasonably.

..right after Bryan telling himself he won't be going over there, 'cause nope, he won't. Hee.

Also this: Aaron tilts his head, nods at Bryan receptively. "Okay. Is that your only note, or...?" was the perfect ending note (ahem) to the story. And no, sorry, I won't be quoting back any of the porny part because I'm shy like that ( ... )

Hey! I'm sorry my own reply to YOUR reply comes late. Been sick and stressed out myself. I hope you're feeling better!

Thanks for reading this latest product of my shameful seekrit brain compartment ;), and for your always kind words. Careful how big you inflate my ego, it might eventually end up eating Tokyo (or Albuquerque)! I miss both you guys and these guys--maybe when the semester ends.... Guh.

Argh, got to this way late after bookmarking it on my iPad and forgetting to reply, so apologies.

But GOOD GOD. This is just tender, intimate, awkward, downright hilarious perfection. It's all adjectives with nothing much else, I'm so gobsmacked by how well written this is!

Wonder what Bryan and Aaron themselves would think of it :D

Oh, wow--thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it (hell, I'm glad people are reading it at all and not pelting me with things) and that you thought it was well done. And I especially loved the adjectives you used. :)

Wonder what Bryan and Aaron themselves would think of it :D

Can't even. O_O

I've wondered a lot myself what they'd think about it. They've sure done enough sexual joking over the last few years.

In terms of the sexual joking, pure armchair psychology ahoy: Bryan is like the warmest, most generous guy on the face of the planet and also I think he’s a bit of a latent homophobe. He's said and done some stuff in public that has struck me as less than enlightened. Aaron just loves everyone and doesn’t care, but also he’s happy to mess around with Bryan; that’s the only context where I’ve really noticed him acting like that at all. (I’ve not watched many of his media appearances over the last year or so, granted.) This is all also somewhat of a generational thing, and of course it's how many men tend to unconsciously work through the homosocial love stuff ( ... )
