This is really interesting - I like that you don't make Bert a villain. Too many Bert/Gerard stories do that to one or the other. I wonder how much they inspired each other really?

I really hate it when Bert is painted as the bad guy. It makes me sad that people pin everything on one or the other as well. I think that they probably inspire each other more than we'll ever truly know. Which I view as a very good thing.

I miss Gerard/Bert slash. I don't care how old it is fff. :c Also dittoing that I like how you didn't make one or the other the villain. If I have to choose, I'm on team Bert... :p But. I liked this, it was sweet. Kind of like you said in the other comment, they worked off of each other.
