I remember fighting with those wormy genesis kids! I would win most arguments with them too, until Mortal Kombat came out, and the blood in my game was the wrong color. It all went down hill from there.
But I must admit, I love the new revolution controller and my DS. I think Nintendo is doing all the right things for the industry right now, I really want to see more non-license based games marketed outside of the “hardcore” gamer demographic.
the revolution controller looks like the culmination of all of nintendo's work. i mean looks at the 8 bit nes to N64, that was a hellacious evolution, and hellacious not in it's bountiful leap, but hellacious in it's tragic middle leg and useless left leg (which also introduced the awkward c-stick that game cube made slightly better, but still slightly awkward), but this controller/remote looks sleak and stylish. When the 80's retro look is back in style, nintendo made the right move going back to their roots on the controller.
and yes, i remember being kano and sticking my hand in sub zero's chest, i guess just to check if his heart was working, and he passed out from it ... which they called a fatality back in those early hay days of SNES.
i was making that 4/4 remark towards the benny benassi album with the biz.
PS the only reason i think nintendo may suffer on business is because of the handheld market that's being flooded right now with playstation being able to have DVD's on their portables which is on the up and up with the kiddy market right now. which means Nintendo MIGHT have to up their stakes by releasing some sort of adaptation or super awesome game series for the DS. Honestly, all it would take would be GTA on the PSP and i think nintendo might be up shits creek.
it's an opinion but the 13 year old child market are the ones who get their brothers or parents to buy those GTA games and also are the rich skater punks with Fenix TX on their psp's. i know nintendo has a very huge fan base all on their games alone, i mean you got your metroid, the GBA castlevanias your mario/wario ware inc games (which are soooo addictive) so right now i think there's nothing to worry about.

I like 4/4’s but in moderation.
