I know it's been a while since I've written, but I've been really busy at work and doing stuff since I got back from the trip. I just thought I'd mention that today is the anniversary of the death of Katharine Evans, who passed away last year on this date in a car crash caused by a driver under the influence, whether it be alcohol or a drug. Long day. Marked mostly by the final departure of my beloved horse, Risen. I had my last ride on him today and my last time seeing him, ever. I've managed to keep it together pretty well today, but I feel myself slowly collapsing from the impact. I'm going to miss him so, so much.
