Ok the other night I was talking to my friend Sally about how if Warner Herzog weren't successful he would be considered a total douche by all his friends. Jim Carroll too.

I think you're only kind of right about Werner because he's a crazy german and most of his friends are probably crazy germans. I've known a few crazy germans and they all seem like they would get along with Herzog whether he were a genius filmmaker or not.

I remember not liking Basketball diaries, but mostly because I automatically assume any drug-addicted poet played by Leonardo DiCaprio is going to be a douchebag.
