I've been working out for three months now with Mountain Strength Fitness doing their Outdoor Class in the mornings. It truly petrifies me to think about doing something like what you're doing, but I've never been successful at working out with others, or even alone. I've never felt success in that area of my life. I don't even know how to begin building the confidence and positive association enough to commit to working out, on a regular basis, when every memory and association is negative and I hate it. GR. I don't know why I'm posting this, I sorta felt like I had to.

My only real suggestion is to come try it. Meet the folks, meet the coach, learn a little bit about all of the myriad exercises, and see if you like it.

Then, if you think it might be for you, look for something near you, or commit to a really early commute to come work out with the rest of us.

If you want to try this out, I'll talk to Coach Amber about having you audit a day.

I mean, what I said about group encouragement is absolutely true. it's a pretty safe place, feelings-wise. You get a lot of encouragement, but never any kind of negative feedback.
