Something i didn't say last night was that i think the first line is so awesome. BECAUSE. It isn't like... a "beginning". Its in the middle of the situation, which is exactly where you are starting. Rather than showing the whole scene, you're jumping in halfway. (Which isn't a bad thing)

And! I also like how the story isn't sided? Its just Dean's thoughts. It has a really appropriate tone.

I actually just started it like that cause it was where my mind was at, and i was like "i'll come back and write something to intro it later" but then when i reread it, i figured i'd have to do, cause i couldn't be bothered :S:S
