One Wedding and a Renfaire - REALLY LONG...SORRY!

Had an exhausting but wonderful long holiday weekend at KCRF. Lots of memories, tightly compressed.

ThatSRGKid and I headed out Friday around 3:30 after his last class. I very prudently took the day off from work, allowing me to take care of some last-minute chores and still be able to pack in a somewhat leisurely way for the trip. For once, nothing ( Read more... )

Ah, NativEarth. Love them lots. If you put a bit of moleskin on the your foot where it's rubbing, you can finish breaking in the boots without breaking your feet. :-)

Matt, dear....I simply must sit down with you sometime and talk about guard stories! The Captain was my first captain and my dear friend of manymany years; he spoke highly to me of you, too. The other Captain, tall skinny man, from the wedding, well, many more stories there, too. Yeah, that halberd...many stories!

And yes for buying the boots; if you take care of your feet, you'll be much happier!

I'm so glad the wedding was such an happy experience for everyone! My darling has wonderful ideas, I never woulda thought of singing Parting Glass myownself.

Thanks, Susi. I would love to talk "Royal Guard" with you when you have a chance. I was very impressed with all of them that I met.
