I should think, good Sir Matthew, that a Frenchman would be preferable if he has PAID you the coin he owes. I do not find that I much favour those who still do own me.

Sadly, many, MANY beach balls were sacrificed to the Mob last night. It was necessary, but somewhat distressing.
