I don't know how many of you grew up watching M*A*S*H like I did, but I have a real soft spot in my heart for that show. It brings me back to my very young childhood, watching it with my Dad after dinner on channel 38. Learning what Dada Hersey was going to show on "The Movie Loft". Or watching out of the corner of my ears and eyes when I was ( Read more... )

my parents watched it too. i was too young for it myself. it didn't make sense to me so i thought it was boring. but i've seen some eps in my more mature years and they're pretty awesome. there is also, of course, m*a*s*h slash. :)

I remember watching MASH myself and yes, I loved it all. I don't remember the beginning, of course, but I do remember the end. I loved the characters and I feel like I knew them: I understood, for instance, that [a person] was just an actor but when his helicopter was shot down on the way home... CRY!!!!

(still makes me sad, that and how everyone dealt with it in the moment. Inspiring!)

this particular info isn't about the ending. I think it would be impossible for you to guess who is involved in this scenario, so I think you can consider yourself reasonably unspoiled.
