I totally understand why people are pissed, especially about the part where the KGB tried to claim it was because three options when you sign up were "too confusing for new users", but the general wank is indeed pretty hilarious. Needs more cat macros, though.

I mean, I can understand why I'd be upset if I took it seriously. But that's what always gets me giggling to myself - trying to imagine who takes this so seriously that LJ getting rid of ad-free free accounts is worth RAGE POWER EXPLOSION.

it always ends with an image of this woman with crazy eyes lecturing to her cats on the injustice of being denied ad-free LJ service. "CAN YOU IMAGINE, MR. BUTTERSCOTCH? CAN YOU???"
