So, uh, yeah, I'm pretty much expecting it to end with all or most everyone blown up, and an 'all of this has happened before, all of this will happen again' voice-over. That's not how I want it to end, mind, but it's what I'm expecting.
Also, I love James Callis in the Last Frakking Special thing, being all "What has Galactica meant to me? Kissing Tricia Helfer. Lots. Lots and lots." And grinning massively. Because really, who wouldn't?

So ok being wrong is pretty ok. :D
I may have cried kind of a lot and laughed like a nutter for the very last bit and my roommate thinks I am insane but oh frakking hell that was so good. There were parts I was a bit iffy about but oh, oh, the end.
"Nothing but the rain" and Bill and oh, Gaius and Six, I always hoped you crazy kids would make it work and aaaaaaagh Eve and robots and Watchtower so good.
Seriously, I don't think I have ever been this impressed by the finale of a show. I didn't think there was any way they could wrap it all up and make it work and be satisfying and in any way happy, but somehow they did. Even Starbuck; even though I wanted her to stick around and be happy, even though it doesn't actually make sense at all it kind of does. And Helo. I was entirely convinced that he died on the floor all alone so seeing him hobbling along talking about hunting and actually being happy for once in his poor life, oh, oh, so much love.
Gah. Nothing but the rain.
...on a lighter note, though, they totally ripped off Douglas Adams. Just sayin'.
