So I am planning to apply to NYU and want to go to New York in probably February to check it out. Hoping I can stay with one of my many friends there! Gonna talk to my cousin Alice as well, see if we can meet up or do anything fun. I hope to do the typical tourist-y things while I'm there. I've been to New York City once for an off-broadway show,

Good luck! Once upon a time, NYU was my first choice (alas, I was rejected) so I went to my 2nd-choice college (which was fine because I LOVED it). I'm not a fan of NY, though, so maybe I wouldn't have liked it much. But NYU is a great school so definitely go for it!
