Lumos; Chapter Six

Luke filled Reid in on most of the conversation once they’d escaped the hordes of reporters and made it safely to Margo’s office. An hour later they were free to leave, using a portkey Margo had set up to take them directly to the edge of Hogsmeade.

The walked mostly in silence up to the castle, hands clasped between them. When they came through ( Read more... )

Thank you! I keep questioning myself since so much of it was unfortunately written last minute xD But I reread it this morning and I'm pretty happy with it. I'm so glad you enjoyed it! <3

Oh, thank you! I'm amazed by how many people who don't like Harry Potter are even taking the time to read this, and enjoy it on top of that! It truly means a lot <3 Thank you!

You make me so happy! I ADORE long comments and this one hit the spot!

I'm really glad you liked the progression of their relationship. I wanted it to be true to canon in the sense that it starts rocky and builds, but I also didn't want to waste too much time with them fighting - it's more fun when they are friends, and even better when they are lovers ;)

Your comments about the ending with Damian make my heart soar <3 I knew Damian was my 'villain', but I wanted him to be at least a little redeemed by the end. He was wrong, and misguided, but he does love Luke. I don't think I could ever write a story with Damian where that wasn't evident.

And the Dean, Cas and Sam mention was just for you ;D So I'm glad you liked it! lol. And oh, Annie <3 I knew I had to have her be in there somewhere!

I am completely and utterly in love with Dervis <3 I realized the other day that he reminds me of the guy I'm 'seeing' and have known for years - give him an Irish accent, and you've got a young Dervis xD So I think that explains a lot! lol. ( ... )

Harry Potter is not my favorite either, but this fic is definitely one of my favs. The storyline was great, and you captured the guys personality perfectly. Snarky Reid, and sweet, happy, soft-hearted Luke.

Annie Judd as a character was a wonderful thought. Sweet and smart just like REid would have wanted her.

Letting Damian and Luke come to some kind of peaceful understanding was also well received. Makes you feel like there will may be a way for Luke to forgive him later in life.

As always, bright, beautiful, bubbly, Katie was a shining character, and found true love once again.

I also loved the headmistress. She seemed a very understanding, but firm character.

Well, all of that said, all in all, you did a wonderful job. Thank you so much for taking the time to write again.

Thank you so much for reading this even though you don't like Harry Potter! lol. I'm really glad that people are enjoying this and feel that the boys were still in character, regardless of being dropped into such an AU world.

I'm thrilled by the responses I've gotten so far in regard to Annie, Damian's ending, and some of the other supporting characters in the story.

So glad you liked it! Thank you again! <3

Loved it so much...Seeing Reid and Luke as professors in Hogwarts was amazing..I loved how it progressed from just meeting as fellow colleagues to boyfriends at the end. Ending was just perfect...
