Solutions are not the answer.*
- Richard Nixon

*disclaimer: I have no way to verify this was truly said. It's still funny though.

That's a valid quote, be it if he said it or not. It's very true and holds up to the values of today. A solution can cause more questions or problems, sometimes it is NOT an end all.

It's best put in that the process of living is a Lose-Lose situation. You can go party and have fun, but you'll be drunk, stupid, and probably make a fool of yourself. Or you could stay home and study, but you'll be seen as a goodie two-shoes and probably a wuss by your friends as well as not have any fun.

The quote was funny, since solutions and answers are usually meaning the same thing. However, I do understand he wasn't meaning it that way, but to me I found it funny when I thought of it that way. ;) But to give any explanation, ruins the whole thing, and so forget I ever said that ;)

Living is only a lose-lose situation if you cared what those people thought. If it meant you didn't get "drunk, stupid, making fool of yourself" I'm all for it. call me a goodie-goodie whatever. better that than dumb, possibly dead or killing someone if I happen to decide to drive that night...

Anyways...

Oh ya? I play D&D with my friends in one of their's basement! Now who's the loser? huh? lmao....

Yeah, we could be worse, drinking and loud-mouthed annoying "teenagers" (we are about 21 though)... and up all night disturbing the peace, racing cars and causing a whole lot of chaos... man that sounds like fun. :P
lol not, I prefer what we usually do. I don't want to be arrested ;).
