"Are we ever going to talk about it?" The question caught her off guard.
"No. There's nothing to talk about it." He measured her with cool eyes. It made her mad, and she lashed out. "Look, we were hopped on who knows what, not acting in our right minds. And now, we're going to pretend that nothing happened, because to do otherwise will make my daughter uncomfortable. She's got to many issues for me to do this to her. If you care for her at all, you won't say anything to her."
"If that's what you want."
"It is."

I always wanted the two of them to actually talk about what happened instead of just dismissing the issue so completely and this really hits the spot. I'm not one for pairing them off, but still, seeing them feign indifference wasn't a nice aspect of either char.
