A new Slayer had arrived at what had been deemed “Slayer Central”. And, like all the Slayers (with the exception of Buffy), she developed a crush on “the normal guy”.

After getting to know him, she found herself telling him things she hadn’t told anyone before. Or hadn’t told anyone, expecting them to believe her. Like that inanimate animals told her what to do, and if she didn’t do it, really bad things happened. And sometimes, if she did do it, really bad things happened.

She knew they shouldn’t be kissing like this. She’d just gotten burned in a relationship. But that was different. He hadn’t believed her when she told him her secrets. He hadn’t understood.
